PageQ Pre-alerts and Heartbeat Features

The PageQ Heartbeat features automatically monitors your PageQ to make sure it is operational.

PageQ Heartbeat is automatically turned on for you. Here's how it works:

PageQ can be affected by internet issues, computers going to sleep, and other issues that may not be immediately known.
To ensure operation, PageQ will send a heartbeat every five minutes.
FireQ administrators will be notified after ten minutes if no heartbeat was received.
Unresponsive PageQ systems are added to a watchlist.
This watchlist is checked every five minutes to see if the system as recovered.
FireQ administrators will receive an email notification giving the start downtime, when it recovered, and how long it has been down.
Firefighters can use this email to determine if the missed page occurred during PageQ downtime.
